This is the perfect way to recycle an empty cardboard box. Turn these boxes into a birdhouse and put your stationery in or any other items. It is not only inexpensive and easy to make, but will also add some nature-feel in the room.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Empty box (biscuit, cereals)
Washi tape
Glue stick, tape
Hot glue gun
Scissors, pen, ruler
Straw
White paper
Empty tape roll, optional

Method
Mark the centre of the box and then draw a triangle.
Cut, front and back.

Cover with white paper using glue stick or tape.
Make a circle for the bird hole and carefully cut.
Cut two long rectangles and glue to make the shape of the roof.
Cut a small piece of straw and cover with washi tape. Use washi tape to decorate.
Use hot glue gun to secure straw and empty tape roll.
Fill with stationery. Make smaller birdhouses using smaller boxes and let the kids add their creative touch to the birdhouses by colouring or painting them.
