Card Pumpkins

This is a really simple, fun activity that can be done by children of all ages. Older children can also do the template tracing and cutting, while younger children can simply decorate ready-made templates.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Orange card
Pumpkin template
Scissors
Pens
Glue
Glitter

Method
Trace round the pumpkin template on to the orange card.

Cut out the pumpkin.

Using a black pen, mark in the vertical lines on the pumpkin.

Mark in the stalk with jaggedy lines.

Draw a scary pumpkin face in pen.

Using glue and glitter decorate the pumpkin however you like.

Pin on a wall for simple but effective Hallowe'en decorations, or you could use the back as an invite to a Hallowe'en party.
