Tea towel, print, stamp, polka dot, purple

Customise a plain tea towel and create a lovely gift for someone special. Instead of potato printing, we used a carrot to create these purple polka dots.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Plain tea towel
Fabric paint
Carrot
Iron

Method
Lay out the tea towel with some newspaper beneath as the paint can soak through.
Cut a carrot and use one part as your stamp.
Pour out some fabric paint, dip the flat cut end of the carrot in and then stamp firmly.
