Carrot Stamp Polka Dot Tea Towel

Tea towel, print, stamp, polka dot, purple


Customise a plain tea towel and create a lovely gift for someone special. Instead of potato printing, we used a carrot to create these purple polka dots.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Plain tea towel
Fabric paint
Carrot
Iron

Method
Lay out the tea towel with some newspaper beneath as the paint can soak through.
Cut a carrot and use one part as your stamp.
Pour out some fabric paint, dip the flat cut end of the carrot in and then stamp firmly.



Print, stamp, tea towel, fabric, gift


Repeat until you are happy with your design.

Allow to fully dry and then iron to set the paint.
