I love crafts that I can do with my three year old son that can then be played with afterwards. These simple little carton houses are fun to make and if you have lots, you could create your own city.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
Empty cartons
Lightweight paper or wrapping paper
Sticky tape or glue
Pens
Scissors

carton, house, preschool, craft, rainy day

Method
Tape closed the top of the cartons if they are open or use empty juice cartons where the spout makes an idea chimney.
Wrap the cartons in paper and either glue or tape to secure.

Cut windows and doors from paper in a contrasting colour and then glue to the houses.

Use a pen to add some extra details if you like.

We had fun making up stories about the different people who lived in the houses.
