Easter Egg Potato Stamping

Potato printing is a classic craft activity for pre-schoolers and this is a great way to add an Easter theme.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
Potato
Paint
Paper
Paint brush

Method
Cut the potato in half (the cutting part is for adults only).

Cut slices out of the potato, you could try simple straight lines or something a little more detailed.
Dip the potato in paint for young ones, or older ones could try applying different colours of paint with a brush.

Stamp onto paper, push down firmly and then remove.
