Easy (884)      Recycled (200)      Cardboard (28)      Wall art (1)      Room decor (1)
The new year has begun and what a better time to create some new room decor for the kids' room. Let the kids make this decorative honeycomb art to put on their doors or on the walls. This is a fun activity for bored kids around the house during the holidays, especially to keep them away from electronic devices for a while.

Time: 30 minutes (plus additional drying time)
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Thin cardboard (I used cereal boxes)
Hexagon template of 3 sizes (google if necessary)
Paint
Paintbrush or sponge
Scissors or cutter
Blu-tack

Method
Trace your templates on the cardboard. You can do different designs or sizes.
Cut around the edges
Paint your hexagons and let to dry.
Play around with the dried pieces to see what you want your design to look like.
Use blu-tack to stick to doors or walls.
