Using natural materials from your backyard is a great way to get kids connected with nature and create an art piece out of what ever they find on their little leaf treasure hunt.

Time: 30 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Some colourful leaves and an eucalyptus branch from nature.
Glue stick
Scissors
Plain white paper
Empty frame
Black permanent marker
Pencil

Method
Draw out a rough sketch of a koala on the paper you will be using.

Cut out the leaves adjusting to the size and shape of the koala.
Start by sticking the branch on first.

Stick the leaves on one by one.

Lastly stick the ears and head of the koala.

Once dry draw eyes and nose on the face with the marker.

Put it in a photo frame and hang as wall decoration.
