Paper plate balloon tennis - a great indoor activity for a rainy day! The rackets are cheap and easy to make for kids of any age. Have fun playing tennis with a balloon 'ball' or just see how many keepy-uppys you can do. It's a great way for preschoolers to practise hand/eye coordination skills.
Time: 30 minutes

Jumbo popsicle craft sticks
Pens or crayons to decorate
Decorate your paper plate with pens or crayons. You can draw on both sides of the paper plate.
Stick a jumbo popsicle craft stick onto the back with sticky tape.
Blow up a balloon
Ready to play! Hold the paper plate rackets by the popsicle stick handles and use them to hit the balloon into the air. Try passing the balloon backwards and forwards between two players, solo keepy-uppys or piggy in the middle.
