Popsicle Christmas Star

This is a fun Christmas craft with great appeal. For younger kids, you can prepare the star in advance and just let them get stuck into the decoration.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: 5-10's
Level: Medium

Materials
5 popsicle sticks
Gold paint
Glue
Glitter glue
Stick on sparkles
Ribbon

Method
Paint the Popsicle sticks with gold paint and let dry.
Assemble as in the photo below with glue at each point where the sticks meet to create a star.

Place a stick on sparkle on each point.

Paint on the glitter glue and then leave to dry.
Tie through a ribbon to hang and it's ready for your Christmas tree.

It's a pretty simple craft but my 4 year old really loved doing it at his school fete.
