Help Easter Bunny sort his carrots into his burrows.

Time: 15 minutes to make
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy to make

Materials
Cardboard rolls
Newspaper
Green paper
Yellow or orange paper
Pens
Scissors
Sticky tape
Bunny figurine

Method
Cover the cardboard tubes in news paper by cutting the newspaper to size and sticky taping it in place.

Cut long strips of green paper, and snip thin triangles along one side to resemble grass.

Sticky tape the grass paper to the top of cardboard rolls. These are Easter Bunny burrows. Decorate with flower stickers or stamps if you like.

Fold the yellow or orange paper in half, and then half again. Draw a teardrop shape on the top, and cut it out. Do this several times to make multiple carrot shapes.

Use a pen to write on the carrots. Write numbers on half the carrots, and letters on the other half.

Lay the carrots on the table, with the burrows and Easter Bunny toy. Choose which burrow is for numbers, and which burrow is for letters. Take turns helping Easter Bunny to sort his carrots.

Variations for the carrots could be
- sight words
- capital and lower case letters
- nouns and verbs
- singular and plural words
