Pasta comes in all shapes and sizes. One of the smallest is Stelline, a tiny star shape. This pasta is ideal for improving fine motor skills by picking up and sticking to card. You can make this activity even more fun by creating a starfish and it's cheap too.

Cut it out and place on some newspaper so you don't get glue all over your table.

Spread glue all over the starfish.

Pour some stelline pasta (or other small pasta shapes) into a pot.
Pick up, sprinkle and push down the pasta all over the starfish.

Don't worry if there's alot of pasta on the starfish. When you pick it up, any excess stars will fall off.
Leave to dry and then you could use as part of an under the sea collage or stick to a card.
