Decoupage coffee cans with comic paper to create a fun money bank or storage containers for kids' rooms. Easy to make and fun to display!

Final bank

Time: 10 minutes plus drying time
Age: Over 10's, Parent Craft
Level: Easy

Materials
Empty container with removable lid
Star wars comic paper (or other paper)
Mod Podge
Scissors and/or craft knife

Method
Thoroughly clean your container. I found a coffee container to be the perfect size with a removable lid to get at coins.

Final bank

Print out your comic paper or cut paper out of a comic book to fit your container.

Final bank
I used 2 letter or A4 size sheets

Cut a rectangular hole in the lid with a craft knife big enough for coins to fit through.

Final bank

Apply Mod Podge to your container. Wrap the paper around your container and smooth out.
Apply Mod Podge over top of the paper as a sealant. It will be milky going on but will dry clear.

Mod Podge

Allow the Mod Podge to dry.
Pop the top on and fill your money bank!
