On a wet and rainy day with several kids over to play, these easy club badges were a spur of the moment idea to keep my son and his friends occupied and to distract them from the idea of playing football in the house.

They are really quick, simple and cheap to make and I was taken aback by how engaged they were with the activity.

It worked well to keep both the three and five year olds happy.

Time: 10 minutes but will keep kids occupied for longer.
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Cardboard (old cereal packets are ideal)
Felt tip pens
Sticky tape

Method
Draw out the shape of a badge on cardboard. we started with a shield shape and moved on to circles and squares on request.

Fold over a piece of sticky tape to make a loop and stick to the back of the badge, or use double sided tape if you have it.

The kids were worried about losing their badges so then created their own activity by sticking them to a piece of paper, drawing more badges and creating their own collage.
