Here's a cute sea turtle picture to make next time you're on the beach. Children will enjoy collecting and arranging the shells. Why not make a whole family of sea turtles?

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's, Over 10's, Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Bucket
Beach
Shells
Seed pods, driftwood or stones for the legs and eyes

Method
Have fun walking along the beach collecting shells and other beach debris in your bucket

Draw a turtle shape in the sand (one big oval for the shell, a circle for the head and four circles for the legs)
Arrange the beach shells onto the large oval to make the turtle's shell

Add the seed pods (or stones, driftwood etc) to make legs
Add seeds or stones for eyes
Take a photo of your sea turtle picture to take home with you
