Next time you visit your local park or go out for a walk, collect some small-ish seeds to use in this activity. We have used a combination of seeds from the kitchen, black sesame seeds, some breakfast cereal and some little nuts (from a Bottle Brush Tree) we collected at the park down the road. This activity would be fun for big or little children - they would just need a more or less complicated design.

Seeds ready for gluing
Different colored seeds
Collect lots of different small seeds from your local neighborhood.
Take some paper and a pencil and draw a simple design with wide outlines to fill with seeds and glue.
Draw an outline
Apply some craft glue and stick the seeds on carefully with your fingertips.
Stick the seeds on
Fill all the spaces with seeds and allow the picture to dry out in the sun. Maybe this could be a present for mum, dad or even a neighbour?
