This is a fun craft for all space loving kids. This space shuttle is very simple to make and is also interactive: pull out the string to make the space shuttle reach the moon.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Piece of cardboard
A straw
Cotton string
Sticky tape, scissors
Marker and pen

Method
Draw a space shuttle, two small triangles and a round shape on the piece of cardboard and cut along.

Colour the shapes with markers if desired.

Cut the straw into small two pieces. Insert string in both straw pieces and tape at the back as in the picture below.

Tape the moon to a wall and pull out the string ends (triangles) to make the space shuttle go up and release.
