This is a lovely card that kids can create to share with friends and family for the festive season. It adds a lovely personal touch and is a great way to teach kids about the joy of giving and how lovely it is to create something which looks great.

Materials
1 sheet of coloured card - red or green are nice for Christmas, but you can splash out and choose another colour if you like it better!
Take your coloured card and fold it in half.
To create a 3D image for your card (as in the starburst picture above), draw a picture onto paper, then cut out the shape you want to use.
Then glue a piece of cardboard to the back of your shape..
Next glue either your pre-created 3D object, or newly created one, to the front of your card. These look nice on their own as a simple card, or you can then add further embellishments by drawing or writing on the front.
Now the card is ready for you to write your message inside and give to a friend!
