Animal hand puppets are easy to make and are a great fun activity for kids. We were given a pre-cut puppet kit by a friend - however it would be easy to cut these shapes from felt.

Materials
2 pieces of yellow felt for the front and back portion
Brown and black felt for ears and spots
Embroidery thread and needle
Take 2 pieces of felt and cut it into the shape of a giraffe (or animal of your own choice).
Paste the googly eyes and the ears.
Take the different shapes of the felt for the spots and hands and paste it on the lower part of the felt.
Take 2 strands of embroidery threads and sew the 2 parts of the felt together and leaving the bottom open.
Your hand giraffe puppet is ready.
