Method
Cut cardboard into triangles and hole punch each triangle with 2 holes.
Using one of the cardboard triangles, punch holes along two sides and randomly zig zag twine back and forth.
Using acrylic paint in brown or other birds nest colour, thickly paint over the twine and stamp along the base of the other triangles, furthest away from hole punched. Paint a colour along the top where the hole punched part is.
Once paint is dry, using a black marker, draw out birds sitting in nest. Parents and children can then colour in the birds with pencils or textas.
Weave ribbon or raffia through the hole punched section along the top to connect the triangles to make birdy bunting.
Hang up in bedroom window and enjoy!
