These yummy bite-sized frozen smoothie pops are so easy that even little kids can make them with just a little bit of help. They would make a great addition to a party food table and would be an ideal fun food for kids with allergies.

Time: 10 minutes plus several hours freezing time
Age: Any age
Level: Easy

Materials
(Makes about 16 ice cube sized bites)
1 banana
About 5 strawberries
Handful of blueberries
Splash of orange juice or water
Blender
Ice cube tray
Mini popsicle sticks

We used mini popsicle sticks but you could cut drinking straws into small lengths


Method
Put all the fruit into the blender and add a dash of juice or water to make the blending easier.
Whizz until you get a smooth consistency.

Pour the mix into ice cube trays. We used a fun star shaped tray from IKEA.
Stick a mini popsicle stick into the middle of each shape. The mix should be thick enough that the stick stands up.

Ready for the freezer


Put into the freezer for at least a few hours.
Remove from the moulds and enjoy!

You can turn them onto a dish and store in the freezer until ready to eat.
