These yummy bite-sized frozen smoothie pops are so easy that even little kids can make them with just a little bit of help. They would make a great addition to a party food table and would be an ideal fun food for kids with allergies.

Time: 10 minutes plus several hours freezing time
Age: Any age
Level: Easy

Materials
(Makes about 16 ice cube sized bites)
  • 1 banana
  • About 5 strawberries
  • Handful of blueberries
  • Splash of orange juice or water
  • Blender
  • Ice cube tray
  • Mini popsicle sticks

  • Everything you need

We used mini popsicle sticks but you could cut drinking straws into small lengths

    Method
  • Put all the fruit into the blender and add a dash of juice or water to make the blending easier.
  • Whizz until you get a smooth consistency.

  • My daughters favourite part

  • Pour the mix into ice cube trays. We used a fun star shaped tray from IKEA.
  • Stick a mini popsicle stick into the middle of each shape. The mix should be thick enough that the stick stands up.

  • Ready for the freezer

  • Put into the freezer for at least a few hours.
  • Remove from the moulds and enjoy!

  • You can turn them onto a dish and store in the freezer until ready to eat.
