This cute blackboard box for
chalks is cheap and easy to make. It's a fun thing to bring on journeys to play with, and can easily be wiped clean. It also makes a great homemade present for a little friend.

Materials
Plain craft box (ours was a thick cardboard box and cost $1 from a discount craft store)
Grey or black matt house paint (we used a tester pot from a paint store) or proper blackboard paint
Thick cardboard craft boxes
Paint the box with the grey or black matt paint. You'll get the best finish if you use a small foam roller.
We used a tester pot of matt grey paint we had in the garage
Brush works fine but for best finish use a small foam craft roller
Set out to dry
If you're giving the box of chalk as a gift, you may want to put a piece of tissue paper in the bottom of the box to protect the chalk.
You can now draw on your blackboard box with chalk. Wipe clean with a baby wipe to clean off your drawing and try different designs.

I think this is really great.i would expand on the concept ,! Utilising an used adult size Shoe box after the paint is dry Fill the box with coloured chalks and the packets of Was clothes and add in as all packet so ordinary tissues after using the Wash clothes .A handy Get Well Box for children when they having to be indoors when sick.A Great Get Well Box !
