Bookworm Bookmark Bracelet

This bookmark is so easy to make and while it probably won't last long, it's fun while it does. The idea is that you use the flat bookworm as a bookmark and wrap it round your wrist while you'e reading. It's a great gift for Mothers Day and Fathers Day too.

Time: 5 minutes
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Paper (the thicker the better)
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

  • Method
  • Cut a thin trip of paper long enough to easily wrap around a wrist. Make the ends round.

  • I cut mine from the end of an A4 sheet, but that might be too small in many cases

  • Draw eyes on one end of the worm.

  • Make incisions at intervals along one edge, near the tail. They should end abut halfway across the width of the worm.

  • Make another incision on the opposite side, up near the head. Whenever you want to put it on your wrist, you will just slide this cut into one of the others at the tail end.

  • While its flat, the worm is the perfect bookmark
