We like to give a little something at Valentine's but I really dislike giving out candy. This year, we used bouncy balls to create a Valentine that was bright, fun and that can be given to both boys and girls!

Time: 4 minutes per Valentine
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Black cardstock, craft paper or poster paper
Scissors
Silver metallic pen
Bouncy ball
Craft punch (hopefully the same size as your ball) or craft knife.
Star stickers

Method
Create a heart template and trace on to the black craft paper. Cut out the hearts.

Final space valentine

Cut a hole in the heart a little bit smaller than your bouncy balls. I was lucky my 1 inch craft punch worked perfectly! If you don't have a craft punch, use a craft knife to cut holes in the hearts.

personalize

Personalize and decorate your hearts with the silver metallic pen and star stickers.

Final space valentine

Insert a bouncy ball into each heart.
Hand out your space valentines!
