Time: 5 minutes per wand
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Bubble wand
Heavy craft paper
Double sided tape
Regular tape
Glue
Scrap red paper
Single hole punch
Glow stick

Method
Make your light saber handle. As all bubble wands are a little bit different in size, it is best to make your own template to ensure the correct size. We choose to use light grey heavy paper and used a black sharpie to make the marks on the handle.

handle
Our handles are 10 cm by 6.5 cm.

If you want to make more than one light saber, scan your image and then digitally paste the image into a windows label document. I was able to get 8 handles onto my paper. Print out as many sheets as you need on the craft paper.
Cut out the handles and cut strips of double sided tape to adhere to the handle of your bubble wand. Put a piece of regular tape along the back seam of your handle.
Punch out red dots from the scrap red paper using your hole punch.
Glue the dots onto your handles.

Light sabers

Let dry and then your bubble light sabers are ready to use!
Once all the bubble solution is gone, make an illuminated light saber.
Remove the handle and cut off the bubble wand.

handle

Rinse the container part where the bubble solution was and wipe off excess water.
Crack a glow stick and insert into the bubble wand.
Put the handle back on and practice your Jedi moves with your new glowing Light Saber!
