Time: 5 minutes to make
Age: Under 5's,
Level: Easy

Materials
Pieces of felt
A ribbon
A button
Scissors
PVA glue

Method
Glue the button to the end of the ribbon.

Cut the felt into squares. Any shape and size is fine, so long as there is enough space for a button hole to fit your button. Larger buttons are best for beginners.

Fold your squares in half and snip a button hole that fits your button.

Tie a knot at the end of the ribbon to prevent the felt squares from slipping off.

Show your child how to use a button and button hole to make a felt snake.
