Materials

Paper

Candle

Food colouring in water, or watercolour paint

Painting sponge

Method

Draw or write on the paper, pressing firmly with the candle

Dip the sponge in the paint, squeezing out excess. Paint over the paper in long strokes. Watch in wonder as an image appears!
