Cardboard Airplane

This craft activity is based on a Lisa Larson sculpture from the 70s called Flygplan (airplane).



Time: 1hr
Age:Over 10's
Level: Hard

Materials
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Watercolour paints
  • Holepuncher
  • Straw
  • Pipecleaner

  • Method
  • On a sheet on cardboard, sketch our your airplane and it's passengers. As you need a front and back you can use transfer paper.



  • Paint in with watercolour paints.



  • Cut out your airplane, holepunch the front wheels. Pass a pipecleaner through a straw and secure between the wheels.



  • Make a cut under the pilot and pass wings through.



  • Hole punch at top and add ribbon or wool.



  • Hang up and enjoy.
