It takes time for kids to learn how to tie their shoelaces. However, this craft activity may help speed up the process by getting them excited about learning the life skill.

Time: 25 minutes
Age: 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Cardboard
Scissors
Shoelaces
Shoes
Markers/pencils/crayons

Method
Trace around the shoes. Thongs are great and using your own instead of your child's gives you more space to cut the holes later.

Draw in some typical shoe details.

Colour in the shoes.

Pierce holes in the middle of the shoes (I found two rows of four holes works best).

Thread the shoelaces through the holes.
