Cardboard Tube Rocket Set
Make up these funky rockets and recycle those cardboard tubes. Put them in an odd spot somewhere to brighten up the room.
Time: 30 minutes (plus drying time)
Age: 5-10's, Over 10's

Materials
Method
Paint up the tubes in base colours
Paint up your cardboard tubes in their main colours you have chosen.
Decorate the rocket body with decals
Print out the downloads for decals to stick on the tubes.
Cut them out and decorate the rocket.
Cut out rocket fins
Cut three triangles from the corrugated cardboard for the rocket fins.
Cut a slit in them as shown in the photograph.
Putting the fins onto the rocket
Place the fins onto the bottom of the rocket as shown.
Glue them onto lightweight card first if you like.
Use the coloured versions or the plain versions to fancy up with your own colours
Make the cone for the top of the rocket
Tape the straight edges of the cone together to join it. *Tape inside the cone, so it's nice and neat. Trim the cone download if you like (I did)
Rocket complete!
Glue the cone to the top of the rocket. All done!
