Cardboard tube, painting, roller, pre school

Try a different painting technique that can be a little
messy but should stay contained within the baking tray. Squirting the paint and then seeing the colours squidge together as they're rolled over with a tube is full of sensory fun.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
Baking tray
Paper
Paint
Cardboard tube

Method
Place a sheet of paper in a baking tray, this helps keep the paint contained. Alternatively, just cover your surfaces well.

Squirt different colours of paint onto the paper. This is fun just in itself.

Roll over with a cardboard tube and go back and forth as much as you like.

 Montage

Leave paintings to dry. We thought the cardboard tubes looked great too, so left them to dry too to be used in another craft project.
