Collages are a great way of using up scraps of paper and robots lend themselves very well to this craft as they can be assembled easily by kids with basic shapes

Collage, robot

Time: 15 minutes
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Card
Colour paper
Glue
Marker pen

Method
Start with a little preparation. Cut various shapes with rectangles, squares and circles being the most useful.

Collage, robot

If your children a little younger, you might need to help them get going, suggesting a big square for the body and a smaller one for the head. However, it's just a robot so anything goes.

Collage, robot

Glue and stick shapes onto card to make a robot.
You can add extra features like a smile with a pen.
