These napkins rings are simple to make and cost very little. They're a great way to make a table set for dinner look extra special.
Time: 15 minutes
Age: 5 - 10s and Over 10s
Level: Easy

Keep paper from presents and reuse
Materials
PVA or decoupage glossy glue
Thin wrapping paper, tissue paper or specialist decoupage paper
Method
Ask an adult to slice your toilet roll tube into rings.

A bread knife works well to slice through the toilet roll
Cut your paper into different sized pieces, thin pieces work best.
Glue an area of the ring and place on a piece of paper.
Smooth it gently from the inside to outside.
Apply a little more glue over the top.
Repeat with more paper, making sure you overlap and cover each piece with glue.
If you're making these to give as a present, you could match to a colour scheme or pick a theme like Christmas. You can even cut out patterns from paper and paste those over the top.
