DIY Cake Stand

This is a simple way to make a recycled cake stand for any occasion. Feel free to use paper plates of different sizes to suit your cake sizes or place any other desserts: cupcakes, cookies, biscuits, brownies- the list is endless.

Time: 10 minutes and additional drying time
Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials

3 EmptyToilet rolls

2 Paper plates

Coloured paper

Glue, tape, scissors

Method

Glue two paper plates to each other. This will make the stand sturdier.

Cover the toilet rolls with paper of your choice, or let the kids use their imagination to decorate them.

Glue the toilet rolls together, shaping them in a triangle.

Then glue to the top of the toilet rolls and the back of the paper plate together.

Feel free to go a step further by adding another tier.
