DIY Jewellery Stand
If your kids are Pokemon crazy, give this DIY Pikachu a try. Pikachu is the mascot of everything Pokemon and looks really cute. When bought they can cost from 15 to 30 dollars but this one can be made for nothing or less than a few dollars.
Time: A day or two
Age: Any Age
Level: Hard
Materials
Tracing paper
Scissors
Pencil or pen
Yellow,red and black colour cloths
Sewing threads to match the cloth colours
Needle
Stuffing
Method
Cut out a Pikachu template
Trace out the different parts of the body as shown in the pic on the respective coloured fabric.
Cut them out.
Stitch each body part in yellow cloth separately leaving enough gap to fill with stuffing.
You can do this with hand or machine.
Fill the stitched body parts with the stuffing and stitch again to seal.
Next stitch on the parts in black as shown in the images and the different body parts as well.
You can use a safety pin to help keep them in place.
Stitch on the red cheeks and a mouth.
