Easy Felt Bat Mask

This Halloween bat mask is quick to make as no sewing is required. It's made of felt so is will last much longer than a paper mask and is more comfortable for kids. Wear it with black clothes to make a super cheap and easy Halloween costume.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Over 10s to make it. Any age to wear it.
Level: Easy

Materials
  • Black felt
  • White crayon
  • Skewer
  • Elastic
  • Scissors

    • Cheap materials


    Method
  • Draw the bat outline onto the black felt with a white crayon. A pair of child's sunglasses can help you judge the right size.

    • Use a white crayon to draw the shape onto the felt


  • Cut out the bat shape.

    • Bat mask shape


  • Cut a hole for each eye in the mask.



  • Use a skewer to poke a hole on each side of the mask.



  • Thread the elastic through each hole and tie a knot at each side.



    • Your bat mask is now ready to wear. Happy Trick or Treating!
