My two boys have their birthdays just 10 days apart so we choose the weekend in the middle and have a birthday party then. It was an easy car theme party with lots of friends and that also meant lots of thank you cards to write.

It's always special to receive a personal thank you card but harder to mass produce them. Here's a nifty idea that kids of any age can do.

Time: 25 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
Paper
Pens or crayons
Cards
Glue
Photocopier

Method
This card was a two drawing creation so both my kids could take part. My youngest is only 2 so I drew a picture of a car and he gave it some colourful crayon decoration.

My eldest drew a picture of himself and his brother as their signature for the inside.

Once the drawings are complete, colour photocopy them for as many thank you cards as you need. I also reduced the pictures in size so they would fit on the blank cards we had.

We stuck the car to the front and cut out the people for the inside.
Now all you need is to add a personal message and you're ready to deliver your cards.

Cute cards, and great to teach the kids to say thank you.
