This is an easy activity for children. Just get some egg carton shells, colors and your imagination to create an army of these strange looking aliens.

Method
Cut the egg cartons in different shapes.
Use bright paints to color the egg cartons. You may even stick two on top of each other.
Stick googly eyes for each alien. It may be one, two or three eyes. Also, try using of different sizes to add to the weirdness.
Make antennae, ears of limbs with chenille sticks.
Cut out strange-looking three- toed foot of colored paper and stick from the underside.
Use pom poms or cotton ball for a fluffy head gear or ears.
Good thing here is, since aliens are imaginary, just go ahead and let your children use their imagination. There is no standard template.
Once all the little aliens are ready arrange them near the
spaceship and let your little astronauts have some adventure!
