Following a seaside theme, my son and his friend declared they wanted to make crabs, so here's what they created.

Time: 15 minutes
Age: 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Egg carton
Pipe cleaners
Glue
Googly eyes

Method
Cut out an 'egg' section from the carton to create the body of the crab.

Push three lengths of pipe cleaner to create six legs in total.
Cut two pieces of cardboard from the egg carton and thread onto the two front legs to create the snappers.

Thread one more pipe cleaner through the top of the head, curl each end and glue on googly eyes.

Your snappy critter is ready!
