Materials
  • 400g condensed milk
  • 250g rolled oats
  • 75g dessicated coconut
  • 100g dried cranberries
  • 50g raisins
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 50g sesame seeds

  • Small amount of sunflower oil

  • Coconut, oats and cranberries

    Mixed seeds

    Method
  • Preheat the oven to 125C.
  • Warm the condensed milk in the microwave for 30 seconds. This will make it much easier for children to mix together with the dry ingredients.
  • Mix all the dry ingredients with the condensed milk in a large bowl.
  • Oil a baking tin and then spread the flapjack mixture evenly into the tin. Use a maximum capacity of 27cm x 37cm. Use the back of a spoon to press it down and into the corners.

  • All you need to do is mix it all together and pop in the oven

  • Pop it into an oven for about 40 minutes until it's golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the baking tin for 15 minutes.

  • Remove from the tin and cut into bars.

  • This makes a great addition to a picnic, lunchbox or just a tasty treat when friends come to play.
