Here's a simple craft idea for Father's Day to make a stylish felt "D for Daddy" bookmark

Time: 20 minutes
Age: 5-10's, Over 10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Felt
Scissors
Needle and thread

Cheap materials


Method
Cut two identical quarter circles from the felt



D for Daddy felt bookmark for fathers day


Cut out a smaller quarter circle inside one of the pieces
Stitch the two straight edges of the big quarter circles together using the thread. You could pick a matching or contrasting colour.

Your bookmark is now ready. It opens like a pocket which fits onto the corner of a page.

You could also make a bookmark to go on the side of a page.
Cut out two semi-circle D Shapes with a smaller semi-circle cut out inside one of the pieces
Sew the outer straight edge of the two pieces together
