Creating your own party bags (lolly bags / loot bags) adds a low cost fun touch to a birthday party - especially when the kids can get involved to make them for their guests. Here's how to make an easy flame party bag for a fireman theme kids birthday party.

Time: 5 minutes per party bag
Age: Any age
Level: Easy

Materials
Paper sandwich bags
Red and yellow cellophane
Glue
Hole punch
String
Black pen

Method
Cut two large jagged flame shapes from yellow cellophane and a smaller flame shape from red cellophane.
Attach the flames in a few places to the front of the bag with a few dabs of glue. We fixed down one yellow flame, then the red flame on top and then the second yellow flame on top of that.

We made sets of low cost fire and rescue colouring cards to help fill up the bag. We found pictures online by searching for "helicopter colouring page" etc on Google and printed out onto pieces of card.
