Time: hours
Age: Over 10's
Level: Hard

Materials
  • Delicate paper in a mix of soft colours
  • Floral wire
  • Florist tape or low tack tape
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Craft paper puncher
  • Craft glue

  • Method

  • There are a few ways to make paper flowers starting off with a swirl and gradually bringing the paper into the centre and securing with a stapler. See the images below for some ideas.

  • You can use these techniques to make paper flowers in a variety of sizes, colours and different textured paper. No mess flower making, just staple in the centre to keep the flowers shape.

  • Using a craft paper puncher, choose one colour to use as the centre for all the flowers.
  • Glue this to cover the staple in the flowers centre.

  • Measure out girls head and make a hoop with florist wire.
  • Using tape, stick flowers along the wire until full of flowers.

  • Pop it on your little girl and watch her play happily for hours in it!
