Frosted Pine Cones

If you're out on a country walk with your kids, why not add some fun by looking for pine cones. Once you get home, you can turn them into a decoration for your Christmas tree.

Age: Any Age
Level: Easy

Materials
Pine cones
White acrylic paint
Glitter
Thin wire

Method
Squirt out some white paint into a tub or paper plate.
Dab paint thickly on the outer edges of the pine cone.
Sprinkle glitter over the pine cones while the paint is still wet.

Leave to dry and shake off any excess glitter that hasn't stuck to the paint.
Twist a small piece of wire around the end of the pine cone and use it to hang to your Christmas Tree.
