Method
Form a small ball out of air drying clay to make your echidna's body.
Press two beads or googly eyes into the clay to make the echidna's eyes.
Lay out a selection of 'spikes' for the children to choose from. Mine picked out the colourful feathers and pipe cleaners cut into pieces.
Poke the 'spikes' into the clay body.
Score a smile or any other features into the clay using the end of a popsicle stick or a pencil.
