This is a simple Halloween craft for pre school children.

bat, halloween, preschool, toddler, easy craft

My son had a great time at the Cotswold Wildlife Park earlier this week and one of the animals he really enjoyed seeing were the bats.

Time: 10 minutes
Age: Under 5's
Level: Easy

Materials
Thick black paper or card
Glue
Paint
Glitter
Stick (popsicle or coffee mixer sticks are good)

Method
Cut a bat shape from some thick black paper or card.

Slop on some glue.
Sprinkle with glitter.

Once the bat has been decorated you can glue or sticky tape a stick to the back.

This is such a basic and simple activity but my son really enjoyed it. Once the bat was dry, he really enjoyed running around holding the bat by the stick.
