These simple yet effective glow in the dark eyes are made from recycled toilet rolls and glow sticks. They make the perfect Halloween decoration to sit in the front windows or maybe on the front doorstep. You can try making all kinds of spooky patterned eyes - it's fun to try all different styles and watch them glow in the dark.

Materials

1 - 2 glow sticks
1 - 2 recycled toilet rolls
Nail scissors
pen

Method

Draw some spooky eyes onto a recycled toilet roll with a pen. You could get creative and draw any crazy shape you like.

Draw the eyes on


Using nail scissors, carefully cut the eyes out, leaving the pupils, if you wish.

Cut the eyes out


Insert the glow stick into the toilet roll and cover the ends with some foil. The glowing eyes will shine through the holes you cut.

Place the spooky eyes on the front doorstep for Halloween. Now it's time for some happy trick or treating.
