Time: 20 minutes
Age: Over 5s (with adult supervision)
Level: Medium

Materials

A coat hanger
2 A4 sheets of black construction paper
1 A4 sheet of yellow construction paper
1 A4 sheet of light grey or light blue construction paper
Scissors
Sticky tape
String

Method
Print out the Halloween night sky template. These will provide the templates of the bats, stars, the moon and the witch for the mobile.

Use the templates to cut each shape from coloured card. Print the templates out on white paper, cut each template out, place it onto the coloured paper, copy its outline and then cut shapes from the coloured paper. Or, print the templates straight onto coloured paper and cut these out.

With each shape cut out, lay the coat hanger flat on the floor or table. Lay each of the shapes out beneath the coat hanger in your favourite design.

Cut pieces of string into lengths between the coat hanger and each individual shape. Lay these out across the design.

One by one, use sticky tape to tape the ends of each string to the backs of each shape.

Tie the top end of each string to the coat hanger. Add some sticky tape to firmly secure each string.

Hang the mobile!
