Materials
Glue, glitter or other embellishments
Paint the palm of your hand and four fingers. The palm will become the cake and the fingers the candles. Experiment with colours and patterns if you wish.
Place hand print on a sheet of paper and press firmly. It helps to have an adult press down on the back of little hands to ensure good paint transfer.
Let the paint dry and add glitter, jewels or other paint colours. You may choose to add fingerprint flames to your candles.
Mount the completed birthday cake on your heavy paper or card stock and personalize your card.
