Time: 10 minutes
Age: Under 5's, 5-10's
Level: Easy

Materials
Cardstock or heavy craft paper
Pink paper
Pink paint
Paint brush
Ribbon, jewels and/or sequins

Method
Fold a piece of cardstock for your card. Cut out a piece of paper for the bodice of your ballerina tutu and paste on the card.

Finished card

Turn the card so the bodice of your ballerina tutu is upside down. Paint your little ballerina's fingers and half of the pad of their palm pink or whatever colour you would like the tutu to be. You do not want the colour covering the thumb or you will not get the ruffles for your tutu.

Finished card

Place the hand on the card, leaving behind the handprint. You can place a couple of times to get more ruffles.

Finished card

Let the handprint dry and then decorate with ribbon, sequins, glitter or whatever your little ballerina fancies.
Personlize with your own message and send to your special dancer!
