Little helicopter fanatics will have fun making this collage helicopter picture with a bit of help from a grown up.

Materials
Helicopter outline (try Google colouring pages or draw your own)
Sticky plastic (book covering)
We started with a print out of a helicopter colouring page (look up on google to find a good selection). You could also draw your own helicopter chassis.
Spread glue on the helicopter chassis and stick on small pieces of aluminium kitchen foil.
Cut out and glue the aluminium chassis to the piece of blue paper or card.
Cut out a piece of clear sticky plastic to make the helicopter window. (We used the shape from the colouring sheet as a template to cut around). Stick on to the picture and draw around with black pen to give some definition. You could also stick in a picture or photo of someone inside.
Draw a rotor blade connector on top of the helicopter and then glue on two popsicle sticks in a cross shape to make the helicopter rotor blades.
Cut another popsicle stick in half and stick in a cross shape at the back to make the tail rotor.
Glue on a piece of bright ribbon to make a stripe on the helicopter.
Draw on skids with a black pen.
